What We Believe

God

  1. There is one God in three persons.

  2. They are coexistent and coequal in every divine attribute.

  3. The Bible teaches a completely sovereign God and that all things, including salvation, are by His grace.

John 17:3 | 1 Timothy 1:17 | Ephesians 2:1-10 | John 6:37-44 | 1 Corinthians 8:4 | Proverbs 19:21

Satan

  1. Satan is real and literal

  2. He operates today as the god of this world and the prince of the power of the air.

  3. He is not yet bound and will not be bound until the millennial reign of Christ after which "he must be loosed for a little season".

  4. He is the originator of sin and death.

Ezekiel 28:12-18 | Isaiah 14:12-17 | Genesis 3:1-16 | Ephesians 6:12 | Revelation 20:1-10

The Bible

  1. The Holy Bible is a supernatural book.

  2. It is the very word of God.

  3. It is the full, the final, and complete revelation of God's will to man.

  4. It is the standard by which man's conduct, creeds, and opinions should be tried.

  5. It is the true center of the Christian Union.

  6. It reveals the principles by which God will judge man.

  7. We interpret the Bible literally. However, some scripture clearly uses symbolic language.

  8. We use the King James Version.

  2. It is literal and took place in 6 literal days.

Man

  1. Man was originally created in holiness and associated with God, in innocence, under his law.

  2. Man voluntarily broke the Lord's command and fell from innocence, is now alienated from God, is totally depraved, and damned to hell.

Genesis 2 & 3 | Micah 7:26 | Romans 3:23 | Ephesians 2:1-5

Repentance and Faith

  2. They are worked in the heart by the quickening of the Holy Spirit.

2 Corinthians 7:8-10 | Mark 1:15 | 2 Chronicles 7:14

Salvation by Grace

  1. Salvation is by the election of God, which is to say He chose us before the foundation of the world, but man is still responsible to repent and believe the Gospel.

  2. Good works cannot acquire or maintain salvation.

Ephesians 2:8-1-10 | Galatians 2:20-21 | Galatians 1:6-8 | Titus 3:5-7

Justification
